United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is hosting their 6th Annual Halls of Horror event this month that is completely indoors. The theme this year is horror films and they are using a brand new location that gives them more space. Everything will be inside to ensure people stay warm. There will be vendors this year due to growing popularity that include cotton candy, hot chocolate, Fresh Eatz, and more.

They have 45 to 50 volunteers from UWTVA, the community, and around the state for this year's event featuring horror movies such as Annabelle, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Conjuring, IT and many more. Volunteers will be dressing up as characters, selling tickets, and more.

Kendra Baker, Executive Director said they are “always looking for more” volunteers.

This year’s event also has an escape room that you can go through by purchasing separate tickets or by getting the Hall Pass ticket.

62 reviews from previous years give them a 5.0 rating on the Halls of Horror Facebook page.

Tickets are on sale online right now and can also be purchased on the nights of the event. General Admission tickets are $20. VIP Passes are $40 which include a shorter wait time and VIP Hall Passes are $60 which include VIP parking, two free drinks, front of the line access, and extra horror experiences - including the escape room.

All of the proceeds from this event will go back to the community through the Hope Fund, United Way’s assistance programs, and more.

Dates: Oct. 20 & 21 and Oct. 27 & 28

Times: 7p.m. to 10p.m.

Location: 128 Weld Road, Wilton Maine.
